I am happy to announce my Etsy shop is 

O P E N !

Etsy - Marilyn Meets World

I have honestly been so nervous to jump into this new platform. I think because it's really REAL and official which is a huge step for me! I still have my Redbubble account since they have a wide access to products I am not able to create on... yet!

In honor of branding myself, "Marilyn Meets World," 2 years ago on Instagram, all of my magnets and stickers in the shop are on sale for $2! These designs are some that I have had for a while and I needed to reach an audience beyond Facebook and Instagram. It is such a great accomplishment to see how far I have come in just 2 years. 

Just a few days after opening up and starting this new journey, I received my FIRST order! I was beyond excited to grab their item and package everything together. I admire the way other shop sellers execute their purchases to buyers and hope that one day people feel the same way about me.

Another thing I am proud of is the pictures I took for my magnets to showcase them better! At first I had them alone on the white background but then the lightbulb in my brain turned on! I grabbed things one would use or bring when traveling since these are part of my "Travel Magnet" collection. Just adding a few elements can make a huge difference in overall presentation. Having this shop is helping me grow in so many ways and I cannot wait to see where it takes me in the next 2 years!

I have always had a hard time with changes throughout my life. Even though it is the one constant thing to happen. But as I get older, I am realizing how much it is needed and I have been embracing it. Life would be boring if everything stayed the same. S2: E9 Yogurt Cup

If you know me at all, then you probably know that my all time favorite show is Boy Meets World. Clearly, because my whole brand is even based off of it! One of my favorite moments in the show is when Eric and Cory go on a road trip together. What Cory doesn't know is that for Eric, this isn't just a trip. He decides he isn't going home afterwards. Along their travels though, they come across the World's Largest Yogurt Cup, which they must visit! There is even a Parade of Sprinkles that Cory checks out, but doesn't get the memo about wearing goggles to protect his eyes. 😂 (Images found on Google from the show, I do not own the rights to them - sharing for visual purpose) I feel I am a lot like Cory Matthews in many ways, but one being how I would be just as excited for this random iconic monument. S3: E9 Sophomore Slump or Comeback of the Year

"Never apologize  for how you feel,  for how you hurt,  for how much you love." I'll be honest with you. I feel like I have been in a bit of a slump the past 2 months. Waves of loneliness, FOMO, fear in general, being different or having unique interests, the constant comparison and not being where I "should be" in life. All of it is valid, but this is MY YEAR.  In honor of my 30th back on January 19th, I decided to do something fun for myself on the 19th of every month this year - so far it's been a success! July is my "half-birthday" month and I thought it would be a good time to step back to appreciate all the good/positives that have happened since my birthday rather than get stuck in the slump.
