S2: E1 New Beginnings
Hi, Hello, and Happy 2021!
If you are reading this, WE MADE IT!
2020 sent us all on a rollercoaster that we didn't pull down the safety belt down for. We started the year off with smiles and hopes for new adventures, and ended it hiding our smiles behind masks and staying indoors. It just goes to show how fragile life truly is and how we are not in control.
So here we are now, just about a week into a new year, but nothing has changed... YET! We must continue to focus on the good things on the horizon. This is also the time people make resolutions, goals, or both. After the year we all had, it may be hard to think of things since we don't know what 2021 will bring. (PLEASE don't be 2020 round 2!) Maybe some of your items that didn't get checked off before will finally be completed now! Take this time to create new beginnings.
As for me, I started this blog back in April of last year, yes, during the quarantine where I had lots of time, (ah, memories...) and since then I have not kept up with it steadily. But I haven't given up either! So, this year I would like to keep it consistent. My intentions were to share the process of my artistic journey and that will stay the same. Even though I may not complete design or creative projects every single week, I would like to still check in here with any thoughts or inspirations I have had in the meantime!
Stay tuned each Thursday night, between 6-7pm for the latest blog "episode" link to drop! I am also going to try out a weekly email message to reach beyond social media for new announcements! Please let me know if that is something you would be interested in. I know a lot of people get turned off by emails because of work and junk mail, but I promise, this one would be fun, inciteful, and hopefully put a smile on your face!
Thank you all for tuning in to "Season 1" of Marilyn Meets Blog! It wasn't a long one, but it was a good start. I am excited for this new season to launch and to see what happens along the way. I am not a professional blogger in any sense, but I'm having fun and I hope you are too.
"Don't ever give up on yourself."
Love you lots,
mvm
