S1: E10 Get Crafty

Wow, blogging is no joke!  I do intend to post on a more regular schedule, but I may stray away from solely sharing design work. I would like to share things that inspire me or just life thoughts.

For now, here is a little crafty update!

This past week has been unusually warm for November in New England (way to go, climate change). So, I was able to sit on my front porch and do some crafting! I left my phone inside so I wouldn't be distracted and just fully focused on finally doing some fun projects.

Recently at a yard sale, I found a nice sized shadow box that I knew I wanted to use for my Disney park treasures. Originally, I wanted to dedicate it to my first Disneyland trip, but it just wasn't big enough to hold all of my memories! Then I had a brain blast, and realized it was the perfect size to display my park buttons from the World and the Land. I found some sparkly scrapbook paper for the background, placed and pinned in the buttons, and am infinity and beyond happy with how it turned out!

Doing hands on projects are always so rewarding in the end. My Pinterest account is full of things I want to create, but I always seem to get sucked into technology instead. If 2020 has taught us anything, it's that time is precious. You never know what is going to happen. We shouldn't wait for a nice day to sit outside and get crafty. From now on, I want to do these projects at least once a week (as well as blogging!)

Thanks to those of you who have stuck around since my "Pilot" post. I hope to inspire you to push through and do the things you have always wanted to do as well.

💙
